Kuwait says drone attacks hit oil, government sites
A drone attack sparked a fire at the Shuwaikh Oil Sector Complex in Kuwait, with no injuries reported, according to state news agency KUNA. Firefighting and emergency teams were deployed to contain the blaze following the incident.
In a separate development, Kuwait said an Iranian drone attack caused “significant damage” to a government office complex. Employees will work remotely on Sunday, KUNA reported, as authorities assess the damage from the attacks.
The incidents come amid rising regional tensions and an increase in drone and missile strikes targeting infrastructure, according to regional media reports.
