Israel says it hit 120 Iranian air defense systems in 24 hours

The Israeli military said its air force struck more than 120 targets in central and western Iran over the past 24 hours, including air defence systems and missile infrastructure.

In a statement, it said the targets included “ballistic missile array sites in the IRGC, UAV production and launching sites, and air defence sites.”

The military said the strikes were aimed at removing threats to its aircraft, adding that dismantling the systems “contributes to maintaining the Israeli Air Force’s air superiority over Iran.”

The announcement follows a series of Israeli attacks on Iranian air defence infrastructure and missile-related sites in recent days, according to a report by Xinhua.
