White House official criticizes media over Trump hospitalisation rumours

White House communications director Steven Cheung pushed back against what he said were questions about President Donald Trump’s whereabouts, criticising journalists without citing specific examples.

Cheung, a former spokesperson for the Ultimate Fighting Championship, accused media figures of amplifying speculation.

Some users on X, including prominent influencers, had circulated unverified claims that Trump had been hospitalised.
