Israeli strikes kill 11 in Lebanon on Easter Sunday

Israeli air strikes have killed at least 11 people across Lebanon, according to local reports, marking one of the deadliest days since the Israeli war on the country started on 2 March.

Lebanon’s health ministry said a strike on the southern village of Kfarhata killed seven people, including a four-year-old child.

In Beirut, another strike hit the Jnah neighbourhood, killing four people and injuring 39 others, the ministry added.

The attacks unfolded as Lebanese Christians marked Easter Sunday.
