Israel’s city of Eilat struck by Yemeni drones

The Israeli military reported that Israel’s southern city of Eilat was hit by drones coming from Yemen in a “coordinated attack” from Iran, Lebanon and Yemen, according to Israel’s Arutz Sheva media.

Yemen’s Houthi group claimed to have taken part in the attack, which targeted “several vital military sites” in a statement released by the group to the Houthi-affiliated Al-Masirah channel.

Explosions were also heard in Jerusalem and the greater Tel Aviv area.
