Four Israeli soldiers have been arrested in recent weeks over accusations of spying for Iran, Israeli news site Ynet reported on Monday. The soldiers are serving their compulsory military service. The report gave few details. Israeli police confirmed the arrests and said investigations are ongoing, but most information remains under a gag order. The arrests come amid the ongoing conflict that began on 28th February when Israel and the United States launched coordinated military strikes against Iran. Iranian authorities have also arrested several individuals for spying on behalf of Israel. The latest group arrested included 20 people in the country’s north western region, all charged with collaborating with Israel. READ: Israel’s war on Iran and Lebanon costs $15bn: Hebrew newspaper
