Russia says Middle East war opens new export opportunities

Russia’s prime minister has said the war in the Middle East is creating new openings for Moscow to expand its global exports.

Speaking on Tuesday, Mikhail Mishustin said Russia has the capacity to quickly boost shipments of energy, raw materials and food as markets tighten.

Mishustin also said rising global oil prices are increasing state revenues, offering a financial cushion as geopolitical tensions reshape supply chains.
