More than 70 lawmakers are calling for the removal of US President Donald Trump following his “civilisation will die” threat against Iran.

Democratic lawmakers are urging for Trump's removal from office through the 25th Amendment, a process in which the vice president and the cabinet evaluate his fitness to continue performing his duties.

“I think it’s very clear that Donald Trump is not fit to serve as president.”
