Iran says ending war requires guarantees against future attacks
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said ending the war will require recognition of Tehran’s “legitimate rights” and guarantees against future aggression.
In a post on X, Pezeshkian said he had spoken with leaders in Russia and Pakistan and repeated Iran’s claim that the war was “ignited by the Zionist regime and the US”.
He said any resolution must include recognition of Iran’s rights, reparations and international assurances to prevent further attacks.
