The US Embassy in Riyadh has issued a heightened security alert, urging American citizens to reconsider travel to Saudi Arabia and consider leaving the country amid escalating regional tensions. In its statement, the embassy said that the safety of US citizens remains a top priority, noting that authorities are closely monitoring developments in the Middle East and advising Americans to remain vigilant and follow local guidance.
