Lebanon, Syria, and France hold tripartite talks on regional security

Lebanese President Joseph Aoun said he held a tripartite call with his Syrian and French counterparts,  Ahmed al-Sharaa and Emmanuel Macron.

According to the statement, the three leaders discussed the situation in Lebanon and the region amid rapidly evolving security developments linked to the US-Israeli war on Iran and its wider spillover in the region.

They also assessed the latest escalation and agreed to remain in close contact to monitor developments.
