Three Thai crew killed in Hormuz attack as ships remain stranded
Three crew members aboard a Thai-flagged vessel attacked in the Strait of Hormuz last month have died, Thailandβs foreign minister has said.
Sihasak Phuangketkeow confirmed the deaths at a press conference, adding that 20 other crew members were rescued by the Omani navy after an explosion and fire onboard.
He said he plans to travel to Oman later this month to coordinate with Iran on securing safe passage for nine Thai vessels still stranded in the waterway.
