Lebanon says 254 killed in Israeli strikes across country

At least 254 people have been killed and 1,165 wounded in Israeli attacks across Lebanon today, according to the civil defence.

Beirut recorded 92 deaths and 742 injuries, while the southern suburbs saw 61 killed and 200 wounded.

In Baalbek, 18 people were killed and 28 were injured, with nine killed and six wounded in Hermel.

Nabatieh reported 28 killed and 59 injured, while the Aley district recorded 17 deaths and 6 injuries.

In Sidon, 12 people were killed and 56 were wounded, and in Tyre, 17 were killed and 68 were injured.
