Sen. Bernie Sanders announced Wednesday that he will introduce a resolution next week aimed at stopping US military aid to Israel, Anadolu reports. Sanders criticized Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and US President Donald Trump for a “disastrous war” with Iran. “No great surprise. Netanyahu talked Trump into the disastrous war in Iran. We cannot allow Israel to continue shaping U.S. military and foreign policy. “Next week I will be offering a resolution to stop U.S. military aid to Israel,” Sanders wrote on US social media company X.
