Israel says 200 munitions used in strikes on Beirut

The Israeli military said it has carried out large-scale air and sea strikes on Beirut, using about 200 munitions.

In a statement, the army said around 70 sites across the Lebanese capital have been targeted so far, including about 50 high-rise buildings.

Lebanon’s death toll from Israeli attacks has risen to 634, including 91 children, according to earlier figures from Lebanese authorities.
