Israel launches fresh assault on Lebanon

Israel has launched strikes on Beirut's southern suburbs at dawn on Thursday, Al Jazeera reports. 

The latest attacks follow a massive wave of Israeli attacks across Lebanon, killing at least 254 people, just hours after a ceasefire between Iran and the US was agreed.
