Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Wednesday that the ceasefire agreement with Iran “does not mark the end of the war”, but is a step towards achieving all of Israel’s stated objectives. In a recorded statement, Netanyahu said: “The ceasefire is not the end of the war, but a milestone on the path to achieving our goals.” He stressed that Israel would remain on high alert, adding that the Israeli army is “ready to resume fighting at any moment if required”, according to the Russian news agency Sputnik.
