Secretary General of the Arab League, Ahmed Aboul Gheit strongly condemned the Israeli aggression on Lebanon, describing the attacks as “barbaric and unprecedented.” In a statement, Aboul Gheit said that the Israeli airstrikes, which resulted in hundreds of deaths and injuries among civilians, constitute a blatant violation and serious breach of international law, accusing Israel of working to undermine ceasefire efforts in the region.
