Lebanon is 'inseparable part' of ceasefire: Iran parliament speaker

Iranian parliament speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf said that Lebanon is “an inseparable part of the ceasefire” between the US and Iran and warned of “strong responses” to violations of the deal in comments made on X on Thursday.

Reiterating the words of Iranian prime minister Shehbaz Sharif, Ghalibaf added that “there is no room for denial and backtracking”.

“Ceasefire violations carry explicit costs and STRONG responses. Extinguish the fire immediately,” he warned in the social media post.
