Israel continues assault on Lebanon

Israeli attack on Lebanon continue, several reports indicate, with the latest air strike recorded in the southern town of Babliyeh.

Search and rescue operations are ongoing across the country, with hospitals increasingly overwhelmed with wounded victims.

Earlier, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed that hits on Lebanon would continue "wherever necessary".

So far, Israel has killed nearly 1,900 people across the country, with over 6,000 others wounded since the start of hositlities in March.
