Ireland’s foreign minister said Friday she is “appalled” by Israeli attacks on Lebanon and called for a ceasefire to be extended to the country, Anadolu reports. “I am appalled by Israel’s brutal attacks across Lebanon, with over 200 dead,” Helen McEntee wrote on X, the US social media platform, after a phone call with Lebanese Foreign Minister Youssef Raggi. “These attacks are unacceptable and must stop,” she said, adding that a ceasefire must be upheld by all parties and extended to Lebanon.
