The Government Media Office in Gaza has denied remarks by Nikolay Mladenov, the “high representative for Gaza” at the so-called Board of Peace, claiming that 602 aid trucks entered the enclave on Thursday. Mladenov said in a post on X on Thursday evening that “602 trucks entered Gaza today with essential supplies for families who have waited too long.” In response, the Gaza Government Media Office said in a statement that Malenkov’s figures were “false, inaccurate and lacked credibility.” It added that official data for 9 April showed that only 207 trucks entered Gaza, including 79 carrying aid, while the rest were commercial goods for private companies, according to Palestinian commercial sources.
