Iran’s parliament speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf said the proposed ceasefire proposal includes Lebanon and the entire “axis of resistance”. He warned that any violations of the ceasefire would carry a “clear cost” and prompt strong responses. Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian described Israeli strikes on Lebanon as a “blatant violation” of the ceasefire agreement.
