France and Pakistan condemn ‘Lebanon ceasefire violations’

Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot have “expressed concern over serious ceasefire violations made in Lebanon” in a phone call, Pakistan's foreign ministry said.

Dar and Barrot “underscored the importance of full implementation and respect for the ceasefire” in their conversation, according to Pakistan’s foreign ministry.

The statement followed Israel's most devastating air strike campaign that killed over 200 people in Lebanon on Wednesday.
