Trump’s Board of Peace denies reports of funding shortages
US President Donald Trump’s Board of Peace has rejected a report that claimed it is running low on money, replying on Friday that all funding requests to date have been met “immediately and in full”.
A Reuters news agency report earlier on Friday found that the peace board had received only a small fraction of the $17b pledged for Gaza, stalling Trump’s plans to rebuild the Palestinian enclave.
In a post to X, the board described the report as “fundamentally wrong and misleading”, claiming “there are no restrictions on funding”.
