US, Lebanon ask Israel to ‘pause’ attacks on Hezbollah

The Lebanese government and the Trump administration have reportedly asked Israel for a “pause” in their ongoing attacks against Hezbollah before direct negotiations begin next week, two sources told Axios on Friday.

This follows the deadliest strikes since the war began killed over 350 people on Wednesday.
