A US-Israeli attack hit an irradiation sterilization facility in central Iran, causing “significant damage,” Iranian authorities said Sunday, Anadolu reports. Iran’s ISNA News Agency said the strike hit a gamma irradiation sterilization center in Isfahan Province on Saturday. According to the National Center for Nuclear Safety Systems, the facility was targeted by air and missile attacks carried out by the US and Israel. The facility sustained heavy damage, the agency said, adding that no radiation contamination has so far been reported in the surrounding area.
