US denies agreeing to unfreeze Iranian assets

A White House official has denied reports that the US agreed to unfreeze Iranian assets, according to Al Jazeera. 

Reuters reported earlier that a senior Iranian source said the US had agreed to unfreeze Iranian assets held in Qatar and other foreign banks.
