Young Palestinian man shot dead in Israeli settler attack

A Palestinian man was killed on Saturday after being shot by Israeli settlers during an attack on the village of Deir Jarir, east of Ramallah in the occupied West Bank.

The Palestinian health ministry said Ali Majed Hamadneh, 23, died from gunshot wounds after being taken to the Palestine Medical Complex in critical condition.

Armed Israeli settlers, under the protection of the Israeli army, attacked the area and opened fire on residents, according to Wafa news agency.
