Fighting in Lebanon intensifies with strikes and missile fire

Israeli warplanes carried out air strikes on the town of Qounine and the outskirts of Halta farm in southern Lebanon, Al Jazeera Arabic reported.

Hezbollah said it fired missiles at Israeli troop gatherings near Bint Jbeil, east of Khiam, and in the town of Rashaf in southern Lebanon. 

Fighting in Lebanon is ongoing as Iran and the US are engaged in talks in Islamabad. Pakistan is mediating the negotiations and has said that the ceasefire includes Lebanon. Israel has denied the inclusion of Lebanon.
