US-Iran peace negotiations end after 14 hours but disagreements remain, says Iran
Iran’s Tasnim news agency has reported that the third round of talks between Iran and the United States have ended, citing its reporter in Islamabad.
According to the reporter, some serious disagreements between the Iranian and US delegations still remain after earlier calling the US demands during the negotiations “excessive”.
Iran’s government wrote in a post to X that both teams are exchanging messages after 14 hours of talks concluded on Saturday, adding that “negotiations will continue despite some remaining differences.”
US President Donald Trump said earlier on Saturday that “it doesn’t matter” what the results of the talks are because either way “we win”.
