US liberal zionist advocacy group backs blocking aid to Israel, including for defence

J Street, the self-described political home for “pro-Israel, pro-peace Americans”, will support ending all US aid to Israel, including for “defensive” weapons like the Iron Dome, reports say.

This was previously considered a controversial opinion among Democrats, but opinions seem to be changing, with left-wing politician Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez calling to block funding for defensive systems after voting against an amendment that would have cut $500m in US aid for Israel’s Iron Dome system in 2025.
