Netanyahu: Israel wants ‘true peace pact’ with Lebanon, campaign in Iran 'not over'
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in a statement on Saturday that he wants a peace deal with Lebanon “that will last for generations”.
He also said that Iran and its allies are “fighting for survival” amid ongoing ceasefire talks between the US and Iran taking place in Islamabad.
Netanyahu promised that Israel’s military campaign against Iran “is not over”, although said that Israel has already made “historic achievements”.
“We hit them, we still have more to do,” he said in a statement posted on X.
Israeli strikes on Lebanon have killed over 2,000 people so far, according to Lebanon's health ministry.
