Tasnim: No change in Hormuz until US agrees to ‘reasonable’ deal
Iran’s Tasnim news agency, citing an informed source, reported that there will be no change in the situation in the Strait of Hormuz unless Washington agrees to what Tehran considers a “reasonable” deal.
Disagreements in US-Iran negotiations centred on Iran’s claim to control the Strait of Hormuz and its refusal to give up its stockpile of enriched uranium.
Iran said it has no plans to hold another round of negotiations with the United States, Fars news agency reported, citing a source close to the Iranian delegation.
US Vice President JD Vance said Washington presented its “final and best offer” during talks with Iran, adding the proposal remains on the table as negotiators left without an agreement.
