Axios: Hormuz control, uranium stockpile key disputes in US-Iran talks

Disagreements in US-Iran negotiations centred on Iran’s claim to control the Strait of Hormuz and its refusal to give up its stockpile of enriched uranium, Axios reported. 

The issues have emerged as major points of contention in efforts to reach a deal, with both sides holding firm positions on maritime control and nuclear policy.

Negotiations in Islamabad ended without an agreement after failing to bridge these differences.
