Officials and sources familiar with the discussions said the options were under review on Sunday, hours after talks in Pakistan ended without agreement.

They said Trump is also weighing a broader bombing campaign, though that remains less likely due to concerns about escalating regional instability and his reluctance to enter a prolonged conflict.
