Russian foreign minister Sergey Lavrov told his Iranian counterpart Abbas Araghchi that the conflict has “no military solution” and urged efforts to prevent any renewed escalation, Russia’s foreign ministry said.

Lavrov also reaffirmed Moscow’s “unwavering readiness” to help resolve the crisis diplomatically.
