Trump may be ‘jealous’ of Pope Leo’s approval rates in US, says polling expert

CNN’s chief data analyst, Harry Enten, suggested that US President Donald Trump may be “jealous” of Pope Leo XIV, noting that Trump is significantly less popular than the Catholic Church leader among the American public.

Enten highlighted a sharp decline in Trump’s support among American Catholics, pointing to a nearly 25-point swing since the 2024 election.
