Canada calls on Israel to stop attacks on Lebanon after citizen’s death

Canada has called on Israel to stop its attacks on Lebanon after confirming the death of a Canadian citizen in the south of the country, the foreign minister said.

The minister urged a return to diplomacy, saying Ottawa supports efforts toward a lasting solution to end the conflict.
