AP: Another round of US-Iran talks could be held 'as early as Thursday'
A new round of negotiations between the United States and Iran could be held as early as Thursday, the Associated Press reported, citing US officials and a diplomat from a mediating country.
Officials said the two sides have agreed in principle to resume talks, though the venue has not been finalised.
Islamabad is being considered again, while Geneva has also emerged as a strong possible location.
Reuters reported that since the Islamabad meeting, the US has remained in contact with mediators, with Pakistan exchanging messages between Tehran and Washington.
