Russia renews offer to receive Iran’s enriched uranium

The Kremlin said it is ready to receive Iran’s enriched uranium as part of a potential agreement with the United States, reiterating a proposal aimed at easing tensions over Tehran’s nuclear program.

Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said the offer remains on the table but has not been acted upon, according to comments carried by state news agency RIA Novosti.

He added that Russia is prepared to support efforts to de-escalate the crisis.

Earlier, Russian foreign minister Sergey Lavrov told his Iranian counterpart Abbas Araghchi that the conflict has “no military solution” and urged efforts to prevent any renewed escalation.
