Tehran has said that threats by US President Donald Trump to impose a “naval blockade” on Iran amount to an illegal war that cannot be won through revengeful actions against the global economy. In a post on X, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei said such a move would ultimately harm the United States itself.  He added: “Can an illegal ‘war of choice’ be won through a ‘revenge of choice’ against the global economy?!
