Russia’s Foreign Ministry has raised doubts about the Board of Peace announced by US President Donald Trump regarding Gaza, saying the initiative raises many questions. Kirill Logvinov, head of the ministry’s Department for International Organisations, said there were growing questions over the aims of the board, according to Novosti, a Russian state-owned news agency. He said recent developments in the Middle East “raise further questions about the real goals and tasks of the Board of Peace, as well as how it will operate, even among countries that have formally joined it”.
