The Israeli army thwarted an attempt by Hezbollah to storm a military position in southern Lebanon, according to Yedioth Ahronoth.

A battalion commander was quoted as saying Israeli forces are working to establish a buffer zone in the area, adding, “Our goal is for the fighting to always take place on enemy territory.”
