Jordan’s Foreign Ministry on Wednesday welcomed a resolution adopted unanimously by the executive board of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) during its 224th session in Paris concerning the Old City of Jerusalem and its walls under the agenda item “Occupied Palestine”. The ministry said the decision considers all measures taken by Israel, as the occupying power, to change the character and legal status of Jerusalem to be null and void and should be reversed.
