Israel says it targeted Basij checkpoints across Tehran

Israel claims its forces have carried out strikes against checkpoints operated by Iran’s Basij force in Tehran.

In a statement, the Israeli military claimed that it had observed members of the Basij - a paramilitary force linked to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps - setting up roadblocks at multiple locations across the capital.
