EU chief urges ceasefire implementation in Israel-Lebanon truce

European Council President Antonio Costa has welcomed the ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon, calling for it to be enforced and verified on the ground.

In a post on X, Costa said the European Union would continue to back Lebanon. "The EU will continue to support Lebanon," he wrote.
