Iran: Lebanon ceasefire part of broader understanding with US

Iran’s Foreign Ministry on Thursday welcomed the announcement of a ceasefire in Lebanon, saying it is part of a broader understanding between Tehran and Washington mediated by Pakistan. Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei said the halt in fighting in Lebanon came within the framework of ceasefire understandings between Iran and the United States.
