Somalia mobilises international support against Israeli diplomatic move in Somaliland

Somalia has confirmed its strong rejection of Israel’s decision to appoint a diplomatic mission in the Somaliland region, describing the move as a clear violation of the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. Somali Minister of Information Daud Aweis said in remarks reported by Al Jazeera that the step reflects continued violations against the Somali state, stressing that Somalia is a sovereign nation whose unity cannot be compromised.
