Home Office bans Tommy Robinson ally from entering UK to attend far-right march
The British government has blocked a US-based anti-Islam influencer from entering the country to speak at a far-right rally in London.
Valentina Gomez, aged 26, was given permission last week to enter Britain with a UK electronic travel authorisation (ETA).
She was set to headline at a Unite the Kingdom rally on 16 May organised by convicted criminal and far-right thug Tommy Robinson (real name Stephen Yaxley Lennon).
But on Monday it was revealed that Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood has withdrawn Gomez's authorisation, saying her presence "would not be conducive to the public good".
At another Unite the Kingdom rally last September, Gomez claimed "rapist Muslims" could take over Britain.
She said: "England, they took your guns, they took your swords, and they raped your women. You have nothing else to lose, but thereβs still hope. You are still the majority. So you either fight for this nation or you let all of these rapist Muslims and corrupt politicians take over."
The Guardian reported that a source close to the home secretary said: "While we recognise the democratic right that people must be free to peacefully express their views, this does not include promoting hatred and extremist views."
On Sunday Baroness Shaista Gohir, a peer in the House of Lords, urged the government to "show consistent standards" and deny Gomez entry.
Gomez responded on social media platform X: "If you keep speaking without being spoken to, Iβll have your husband mohamed discipline you."
She added that "muslims only contribute to rape statistics & terrorist attacks".
She also wrote "I will be signing smelly hijabs at the @UKHouseofLords" and "1 Valentina > 6 million [emoji of a hijab-clad woman]".

Colombian-born Gomez last year stood as a congressional candidate in Texas. She burned a copy of the Qur'an in April 2025 and said she wanted to "end Islam in Texas".
She added that "Muslims can fuck off to any of the 57 Muslim nations".
The move comes after the home secretary banned American rapper Kanye West from the country earlier this month, over antisemitic comments and songs widely condemned by Jewish groups.
Mahmood also banned a prominent American Muslim preacher, Dr Shadee Elmasry, in January over social media posts in which he criticised the West's support for Israel and praised resistance against the country.
